ELIGIBILITY

▪ A member in good standing with USA Judo, USJA, USJF, or ATJA for USA competitors.

▪ A member of their national federation for international players.

▪ A copy of your current membership card will be required at

registration.

▪ At least 30 years of age. Year of birth must be 1993 or earlier.

(Acceptable proof of age: birth certificate, passport, or current USA Judo membership card having the age verification symbol “V” printed following the date of birth.)

Note: A Driver’s License is not acceptable as proof of age.

NO WALKUP REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT ALL.

WE WILL USE “MADISON BRACKETING” FOR NOVICE DIVISIONS WHEREBY THE AGE AND WEIGHT CUTOFFS WILL BE SET AFTER ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES ON 01/25. THIS SYSTEM ALLOWS NEARLY EVERYONE TO COMPETE WITH A MINIMAL NUMBER OF UNCON- TESTED ENTRANTS, AND DISCOURAGES UNHEALTHY WEIGHT LOSS. DIVISION LISTS WILL BE POSTED ONLINE FOR YOUR REVIEW. THE LISTS WILL INCLUDE GENDER, AGES AND  WEIGHTS OF THE PARTICIPANTS. COACHES/PARENTS/ATHLETES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING THAT THEY ARE PLACED ON THE CORRECT LIST. NOON ON FRIDAY 01/27 IS THE DEADLINE FOR REPORTING ANY ERRORS OR OMISSIONS. CONTACT THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR WITH ANY CONCERNS.
